Courses and seminars about production of artistic projects

  • 2007-2008

laPinta has designed a set of courses and seminars about production of artistic projects. These courses analyse both the different steps of the production process and the main tools to perform efficiently the project’s development. Proposed as a workshop, we work with the students’ ideas and we invite different specialist from the own artistic sector so as to share with us their own experiences in the artistic production process.

An essay about curatorial practise

Se Busca is a curatorial essay led by laPinta, which examines the relationship between artists and curators, and the types of cooperation that can be given between them.

Se Busca was born in the production center Hangar , within Oberts Summer Workshops 2005.

In mid-2006 Se Busca-UB took place: 6 students from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona chose 6 curators for a joint project to illustrate their relationship, and that was presented in the auditorium of Centre d'Art Santa Mònica .

Premio Miquel Casablancas 2005

In this edition of the Prize Miquel Casablancas, laPinta was invited by Francesc Ruiz to be part of the jury for the competition. In addition to the work as a juror, each team articulated an exhibition around a selection of artists participating in the call.Our project consisted in an exhibition, a workshop and two performances.

FIAV is an annual festival of video whose goal is to build bridges between cultures of southern Europe and northern Africa.

OFF LOOP'04

International videoart festival

  • Barcelona

Off Loop’04 is performed in conjunction with the International Trade Fair Loop'04.

Off Loop'04 shows videoart in museums, galleries and cultural centers, and also in traditional shops, bookstores, design and fashion shops or restaurants, thus making the video closer to the citizen.

Off Loop'04 has tables for discussion, video programmes, performances, guided tours and parties.
